Accessibility

In order to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act, 1995, 2Sys are committed to providing a website that is available to as many users as possible. The following list summarises the key accessibility features that have been implemented. The W3C checklist of accessibility guidelines has been applied to this website and its compliance is detailed in the document "W3C Accessibility Guidelines Checklist".

  • A text version has been provided as an alternative to the graphical version.
  • The font size can be either increased or decreased when viewing the text alternative.
  • The font size of the graphical version can be changed using the Internet Explorer text size feature without compromising the design.
  • The flash elements have been made accessible to screen readers.
  • An interactive map has been provided for those who have difficulty reading the standard text featured within the static map that details the location of 2Sys offices in Malmesbury.
  • An alternative menu is featured on the left hand side and bottom of the graphical web pages for those who do not wish to use the JavaScript menu.
  • Elements such as graphics, tables and menus have been given descriptions for the purpose of screen readers.
  • The text version can be navigated via key strokes/access keys. The corresponding key has been placed immediately after the link and can be activated as follows:
Internet Explorer 5+ Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key, then press ENTER
Internet Explorer 4 Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key
Internet Explorer 5+ for Mac Hold down the CTRL key and select the number/letter of the access key
Internet Explorer 4.5 for Mac Access keys are not supported
Netscape 6+ Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key
Netscape earlier versions Access keys are not supported
Mozilla Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key
