The Challenge

Hepco Slide Systems is one of the world's foremost innovators and manufacturers of Linear Motion Technology. Hepco’s broad product range is constantly updated and the company aims to offer integrated packages of components to automation designers. To meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive international market, Hepco needed to ensure that its product range was available to designers 24 hours a day.

The Solution

Hepco decided to develop a CAD library on their website, branded in Hepco's corporate image, but hosted and managed by 2Sys. The 3D CAD Library enables Hepco's customers to search on product number or on description for an item and then download the 3D CAD drawing directly to their pc.

The Benefits

Using the 3D CAD Library has made it possible for Hepco to ensure that its products are included within designs at the beginning of the design cycle. The cost of sales has been reduced with simple customer queries being answered via the CAD drawing rather than through customer services.
